Oshiomhole Clashes with Arise TV Presenter Rufai Oseni During Live Interview
Senator Adams Oshiomhole exchanged sharp words with Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni during a live interview after disagreeing with the presenter's questioning and interruptions.

Former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, had a heated exchange with Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni during an interview on Friday.
The disagreement happened during the station's Morning Show programme as Oseni questioned the senator about several political issues involving the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and President Bola Tinubu's visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the interview, Oshiomhole appeared unhappy with the way the questions were being handled. He accused Oseni of interrupting him before he could properly respond.
The former governor insisted that the presenter should allow him enough time to answer the questions, saying that guests deserved respect during television interviews.
Oshiomhole also argued that the interviewer should listen to his responses instead of interrupting him while he was speaking.
Speaking directly to Oseni, the senator said:
"I won't allow you to continue with this tradition of speak to yourself and answer yourself. You asked three questions and I will reply them. And you have no right to interrupt when I am replying."
He further called for what he described as international best practices in conducting interviews.
Oshiomhole said the presenter needed to exercise patience and give him an opportunity to explain his position on the issues raised.
He added: "Rufai, I am very ready for you."
The disagreement occurred as Oseni sought the senator's views on the political activities of Wike and Uzodimma, as well as questions surrounding President Tinubu's foreign travels.
Oshiomhole also addressed the issue of alleged preferential treatment involving Wike, maintaining that there was no preferential treatment in favour of the FCT minister against anyone.
The exchange attracted attention because of the disagreement between the politician and the television presenter during a live current-affairs programme.
The interview highlighted the challenges that can arise when politicians and journalists disagree over questioning methods and the time given to guests to respond.
Oshiomhole's remarks formed part of a wider discussion on political developments in Nigeria and the conduct of public officials.
